Good old fashioned type pub, friendly bar staff, good prices in today's market, the decor was a little dated but only add to the genuine charm of the place. The atmosphere was chilled and relaxed, it was pretty quiet when I visited but people did come and go casual like. That is a properly working man (or woman) locally. after my first visit, where later the bartender remembered my drink. I was made to feel welcome and really enjoy the atmosphere. people in their work clothes and dirty boots, instead of knocked out for a night. many choice, friendly, more pleasant place for a pint or a cocktail. highly recommended.
We had a wonderful time on Mother's Day! There was a live singer and complimentary drinks for everyone. We enjoyed sitting in the beer garden since the sunshine was absolutely lovely. We'll definitely be returning!
At 11:30 AM, there was only one other person in the bar. I enjoyed a pint of Carling, which was decent, and had a relaxing half hour.
Cozy pub with a friendly atmosphere. The outdoor seating area is delightful, and the prices are quite affordable.
