First of all it is no longer Son Vida, so they should remove the website off the internet and also the new place just now open 2 weeks is called Butcher Block.....needs some work as was far behind standards of serving a large crowd even if unexpected..my food was overcooked and my friends was fine, just took way too long to get served and the space is tight in areas, a bit cozy in spots, I had to move my seating from a chair in the corner by the main bar as to avoid getting an elbow in the back of my head from the man sitting at the tall bar stool behind me. Hope they correct some minor mistakes to make it better for the area. Good luck..

A larger group of us arrived here to try out the tapas offerings. We had a group of 5 and ordered a variety of tapas plates to share. The server was very accommodating and was regularly back to check on us, despite the extra-busy night. The food was great, tasty and hot. We had no complaints about any dish. Possibly the only thing might be portion sizes vs price, but at a Hamachi joint I expect it to be a bit on the overpriced end so this wasn't a surprise. Not a nightly type of place but a once in a while enjoyable spot.

This food here is great and the service is great! What I enjoy here the most is that the food tastes so fresh and home made. Most of the dishes you can tell are authentic and they support local breweries. They have local brews for $5.00 on tap on Fridays. Definitely a good recommendation for somebody looking for Mediterranean food.

I had looked at the online menu for this gourmet pub a few times before my mother, brother, and myself decided to check it out recently. What I will say is, much like other people on here, first time there and, we will not be back. First off, it is very nice inside. Wood paneling, TVS, comfortable seating I really liked the laid back, relaxed vibe. That is where my likes stopped. I ordered the club sandwich with the kettle chips instead of fries. The meal was $17.50 with an extra $3 for the kettle chips over fries. Why an extra $3? The fries and kettle chips are the same price on the sides list on the menu. To me, this was ridiculous. With the kettle chips they gave me a white dip, which looked and tastes exactly like caesar dressing out of the bottle. I 'm sorry, disgusting. As for my club, I love clubs, it is one of my go-to sandwiches on menus but, this one was awful and not worth the price. I basically ate toast. My ENTIRE sandwich had three tiny strips of chicken on it. I think they cut a full chicken breast in half lengthwise, then cut it down the middle, then cut it in half again, and cut off three tiny pieces. It did not fill the sandwich with chicken, which you would expect for $17.50; it covered maybe half of the center of the bread. One strip of undercooked bacon too. I pulled that off. Almost no lettuce. It was unbelievable that this sandwich left the kitchen like this. I also ordered a diet coke. Beyond flat. It was water without much flavoring. My brother ordered the fish tacos with a ceasar salad. Again $3 upcharge for caesar but, this is pretty normal. However, the salad was pitiful. Barely anything there. The fish tacos. Two tacos, one piece of battered fish which, again, had been cut down the middle, then in half so, between two tacos, there was half a piece of fish total. Not worth the price for any of it. My brother ordered a draft and, it was also flat. My mother ordered a steak with fries. She actually enjoyed this. $24 but the steak was cooked well, it was seasoned, and she got a lot of fries. Several fries were bad but, what can you do. Overall, the meal was $113 with tip and it was a complete waste of time and money. My brother had to eat again because he had no food on his plate. The service was great but, the food is not worth the price and, frankly, it is not good.

The restaurant was not busy, but service was still very slow. They offer a senior special on Mondays where you can get 20% off your food if you buy a drink, but it still doesn't seem like a fair deal considering the quality of the food.
