Locos is legendary. Since they were at the Fort Hill location back in 2017 they’ve been consistently excellent in quality and service. Every dish I’ve had ranks high but if I had to choose the fish tacos are king of the hill. It was tough to see them go but I’m glad they’re able to have a bigger operation near SML. What Susan Robertson doesn't like about Tacos Locos:
A friend and I got the Tex Mex shrimp salad and neither of us liked it. It was a fairly lg bowl filled with half lettuce and half rice with a dollop of guacamole, a nother of black beans and corn salsa and a few tiny tortilla strips on top,a little salsa and the shrimp. Love this place steak tacos are bomb and the charizzo quesadilla is one of the best I’ve had and I hunt taco trucks and the price is reasonable as well
Tacos Locos is an absolute treasure! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. The food here is nothing short of spectacular. The tacos are packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and the ingredients are incredibly fresh. One bite of their carnitas taco, and I was hooked – tender, juicy, and bursting with authentic Mexican spices. The salsas are house-made and add the perfect kick to each bite. I also tried their queso and guacamole, both of which were divine. The queso was creamy and rich, while the guacamole was fresh and zesty. The service at Tacos Locos is top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and eager to make sure you have an excellent dining experience. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the food.
Literally the best price and best tasting tacos in Lynchburg Edit: Now they've moved to Huddleston, but everything is the same! Incredible food and wonderful service. Do yourself a favor and take the drive!
