Love Turning Point for the atmosphere and family friendly feeling. Unfortunately I don't drink beer so I always try to purchase several non alcoholic drinks to support Turning Point. Today, I purchased a La Croix and I was shocked when it was over $4.00 for a single 12 oz can of sparkling water. Unfortunately, that's too steep a price so I guess I will bring my own sparkling water next time. Still a great place but j... View all feedback.
What Adam Wilson doesn't like about Turning Point Beer:
Good service and atmosphere but I thought all of the beers I tried were very light on flavor. Honestly there wasn't one beer that I finished in my flight because they were just not great. Still they had a lot of beer options especially if you like sours. Clean dining room, lots of tv's, and reasonably priced. View all feedback.
Stumbled across this place after i finished my last call at work. they were having a gaming competition of smash bros, street fighter 6, tekken, etc. bought some cool hand painted figurines and some holographic stickers, a tumbler, and some anime debit card skins from random people/vendors that had tables setup. good beer
UPDATE: This place is getting even better! Their popularity has blown up so there is often a line on the weekends to get your beer(s . Well with it! Their beers are really good and they have a ton on tap. Their new space is expansive with plenty of places to sit, board games to play, cornhole, and usually a food truck or some eats option available. Many people make it a family time with their kids. So, come out and hangout!Great place, exceptional service, and fantastic beer! I have a very particular way I drink my flights. I do it in IBU order lowest to highest. These guys don't post IBU's. Yet, John (sp? thoroughly entertained all my questions without a hint of annoyance. I mentioned that I was traveling the country checking out different breweries and that Florida was my next stop. He recommended two and couldn't remember the other he liked. Later, he brought me a handwritten list of six breweries to check out. Super cool! Check this place out. Their IPA's are in point (mostly NEIPA's for you beer nerds . They even have a few old school video games (for you regular nerds . If you read this review and it helped please like it by giving it a thumbs up!
One of my favorite breweries in DFW. IPAs are consistently some of the best tasting weirdest styles you can find (in a good way). Glacier Frost Refresher is amazingly good too. I just wish I lived closer!
Found my new favorite beer at Turning Point Beer. The facility is very nice and open inside with limited seating outside. Customer service is fast and friendly. They have a brew for even the beer snobs! Lol! Be sure to check out the Knotty Pretzels!! Pair perfectly with your choice of beer!
This review is a love letter to my amazing bartenders that I had this afternoon. My wife and I had just left 903 and a good friend of mine in San Antonio had wanted a four pack of their new strawberry IPA. I walked in expecting to get my beer and leave and what I found instead inside at Turning Point was a gorgeous new taproom. I had no idea about it because I hadn't been back since a wrestling event that they held a few years ago. Long story short, Josh Deb took care of me and within 10 minutes of meeting them I found that I now had another freaking awesome place to send people to in Texas that doesn't nearly get the hype they most certainly deserve. Thank you for the conversation and I look forward to coming back time and time again.
