What Robin Farrell doesn't like about Alwadi Cafe:
The staff were incredibly nice and very friendly! The dishes were a little plain for what you're paying for. The moussaka tasted alright. We expected more of a sliced piece of moussaka like you would with lasagna but it was more of a slop. The gyro platter was good but it was bland looking. It needs more colors to attract the eye. The kid's pizza was just unimaginative and bland looking. View all feedback.
I absolutely love this food! We ordered the Mezza appetizer, Moussaka, beef Manakeesh, gyros, and fries. We took it to go, and even though we live 20 minutes away, everything was still hot and fresh when we got home! Every single bite was incredibly flavorful and fulfilling! Incredible experience! I tried the vegetable sampler, and the falafel was the best I've ever had. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere was enhanced by great music and friendly patrons.
This place is truly amazing! My girlfriend and I stopped by for lunch earlier this month, and the owner personally served us. He was incredibly friendly and had a great sense of humor. The food was outstanding, featuring top-quality Lebanese dishes, and they also offer a variety of options for those looking for something beyond Mediterranean cuisine. I had the combo kabob plate, which was fantastic, with the lamb kabob being the highlight. The hummus, falafel, and rice were exactly what you’d hope for. Even though I live an hour away, I plan to come back at least two or three times a month!
We lived in Cyprus in the Mediterranean, where we developed a deep love for the cuisine. It was such a delight to enjoy the same delicious Mediterranean dishes at this restaurant on our 49th anniversary.
One of the finest spots for Mediterranean cuisine in the DFW area. The pita is soft and light, the meat and vegetables are grilled to perfection, and the rice is wonderfully fluffy!
