The Pearl Chinese Takeaway - Bedford

I highly recommend this Chinese restaurant. The food is delicious, and the person on the phone, Cara, is very friendly. Delivery is usually fast, and they will inform you if there are any delays. I suggest trying the chilli shredded beef - it's fantastic!

The customer service was excellent with delicious food. I had beef curry, egg fried rice, and Singapore ho fun which were all very tasty.

A few years ago, my favorite restaurant was The Pearl. However, I switched to Food Top for a while until I noticed that their portions had become too small. Disappointed, I decided to go back to The Pearl. The food is generally good, although it can be a bit heavy on the MSG sometimes. Despite this, I plan on returning to The Pearl in the future.

I placed an order for food at 6:10pm and still haven't received it by 7:50pm. When I called the restaurant to inquire about the delay, the woman on the phone was rude. We overheard her saying to someone else that the food should have been ready by now, but she told us over the phone that it was still cooking and would be out shortly. That was 25 minutes ago. When we confronted her about the wait, she rudely mentioned that the shop was busy and then hung up the phone. We have always ordered from this restaurant, but after today's service, we will not be ordering again. Service: Delivery.
