eating was always exceptionally good. Yesterday the hunch was so tender, juice, knife slide through like butter. the sauces are so full of taste. I was at some places where there were all seasoned and there was no taste, but this place is great in taste, and the seasoning is not overwhelming when they demand it. 5 stars of me. the personal is friendly. the islam served my family last night and he did it with a warm h... I used to love this Indian restaurant since I live in the village, but the quality has significantly declined since just before Christmas. I have ordered takeout three times and twice the order has been wrong, with incorrect dishes or items missing. Today, I placed an order and arrived 5 minutes early, only to find that the food was cold. This is very disappointing, as I no longer recognize any of the staff and they... View all feedback.
Ordered a takeaway the last one I had was over a year ago but decided to give it ago again as it is the most local. Firstly I’m pretty sure the flier I had was not that old but the prices had gone up, the delivery charge is now in place even for Harrold residents and there’s no collection discount just replaced by a loyalty card, like spend over 20 quid x 5 times to get a tenner back ! Back to the food , it was lukewarm , understandable as the bridge is flooded to Carlton. However the both curries were swimming in oil. The chicken was poor quality , big clumps , not tender , found grey sinus and worst still …chicken skin ! This is gross. Very poor preparation and sub standard. The rice was ok , the naan was cold and the popdums appeared to have a tang like they’d been cooked in old oil. The cost has gone up considerably, close to 30 quid for 2 curries, one rice and a naan bread . These people really need to get a grip . I’d used them since 2014 but I’ve seen a real change and not for the better tbh. To add you’d think it common sense if you’re telling your customer that they have an old menu that you’d send a new one with the new costs with the food….. maybe cutting costs ….maybe ripping people off…maybe loosing the ability to maintain good customer service. I will be sticking to my usual from now on, burnt their bridges….people work too hard for these treats and tbh it’s lost its way .
Very average. Prices keep going up and quality of food and service going down. We won't be back,as there are better options, its a shame they don't appreciate local customers literally on their doorstep
We visited Spice of Paradise for the first time today and were blown away by the amazing food. Every dish was excellently presented and tasted delicious. Although the service was a bit slow due to the busy crowd, it allowed us to savor our meals without feeling rushed. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant! It has quickly become my new favorite spot for Indian cuisine.

This is very disappointing, as I no longer recognize any of the staff and they are not as friendly as the previous employees. The quality of the food also seems to have decreased, so despite wanting it to be good, I have had three bad experiences in a row. I will probably try a different Indian restaurant in Olney next time.
I often dine at this fantastic neighborhood restaurant. The flavors are delicious and the prices are extremely reasonable. The portion sizes are very generous.
