The atmosphere is welcoming and clean, making it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. The menu, while not extensive, delivers quality meals like Sunday roasts, pie and mash, and more. The staff are attentive and the beer selection is good. Overall, a recommended spot for a delicious, no-frills dining experience in a cozy village pub setting. Nice, clean, consistent pub. Could only be improved by stocking Thatchers cider in my opinion.
Today it was the turn of the Red Lion in Wilsead to have us check them out. A pleasent, if not your quintessential pub but was first licensed in 1671 to Grace Freeland. Had a refreshing John Smith and a cool Fosters. Fantastic hanging baskets and a good ambiance.
