Morrisons Cafe - Bedford

I went for lunch at this restaurant, and it wasn't very busy. However, the tables were not cleaned and the chairs were dirty. Additionally, most of the cutlery was dirty and still had old food on it.

Went to have breakfast this morning and it was disgusting. There was not one cup on the clean rack that WAS clean. The cutlery was also all dirty, my sister even washed ours under the hot water tap on the tea machine. Every surface was tacky to touch and the whole cafe was overall dirty. As for the food, it was Luke warm and some items not even cooked through and we had to ask for ‘cooked’ items. I for one will never return or recommend anyone to have a bite to eat there, it’s shocking the council haven’t closed them down yet and how no one has got ill is beyond me.

Milky coffee, what a disappointment. I like my coffee milky, but this was one I never want again. Bitter coffee, not enough milk to 'coffee ' ratio and only just warm enough. Either it 's low quality coffee or it is already mixed with the water and has been standing around. It 's not as if it 's really strong, just very bitter. I don 't have that high an expectation of coffee from these multiple choice machines, but I have had better in many places.

I found the breakfasts at Morrisons to be underwhelming and too expensive. My overall opinion of the restaurant has gone downhill, and I rarely visit anymore. During my last visit, I also had a negative experience with Customer Services, where the woman in charge was unpleasant, unhelpful, and bordering on rude.

I absolutely love the Vegan Breakfast and the Americano at this restaurant. Both my sister and husband also enjoy them. If you don't like the food here, you should go somewhere else and pay more because it won't be better than Morrisons. The cafe staff, as well as all the staff, are wonderful with their smiles and incredibly polite service. They have cheered me up on tough days. I always come here alone to sit quietly and enjoy my Americano. I am a bit disappointed that they changed their £5 voucher system and no longer accept NHS cards. I hope they don't let the Americans change it! Thank you Morrisons for your vegan options and I hope to see more vegan and gluten-free options in the future. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
