Was welcomed when I arrived (was a bit early and they was just finishing getting my order together) friendly staff once order was complete got home and the food was perfectly cooked. Looked great and tasted fantastic . View all feedback.
What Alan Rodriguez doesn't like about King Cod:
Normally the food is good but this time the fish,three pieces,was not cooked fresh as the colour and texture of the batter was dark and oily,probably previous cook up times leftovers. View all feedback.
Chips were very nice,and the fish was a little over cooked but nice!
Great to find a place that keeps the skin on the cod, as it's tasty. Cod was ok but slightly chewy. Chips were ok, and were a decent medium size portion. Battered sausage nice. Donner burger for £1.50 was a good price for what it was.
Ordered cod and chips. The cod was awful it was majority batter and what cod there was it was rubbery. As for the chips, they were under cooked and horrible. Really disappointed, won't be going back.
Lovely chips fish and service good clean chip shop.
Food was great,as usual,and delivered 45 mins early!
