I went there for a birthday lunch with my friends, and we had a wonderful time. The staff was really friendly, and the food was fantastic. Overall, it’s a great place!
Delicious food, big portions and great value! Had the bigger version of the fish chips, and it could easily be shared between two people. The vegan burger was top notch, full of flavour and not dry at all! Staff was very friendly and the service was fast. The only downside was that the kids pasta was a bit dry, without much sauce on it. Can't really complain to be honest, got the offer that it costs £1 when you get another adult meal. Very good deal. Another let down was the back beer garden, it is not looked after at all, but it got so much potential to be really nice. I hope that the current manager sort it out, as it would be really nice to sit on the outside with kids, away from the main road.
My friend and I visited for the first time yesterday, and we had some fantastic fish and chips. They were so delicious, and the price was a real bargain—just £7.50 for two meals! It was also great to see Brenda, the barmaid, whom I've been friendly with for years. The staff made us feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend this place!
