Rio Grande - Beckley

I wanted to grab a bite to eat while doing some work on my computer (home health) as I waited for my employee. I ordered a meal and spent about two hours both eating and working. The place wasn't crowded, with plenty of available seats, and I didn’t request anything else after my meal. However, the server seemed eager for me to leave, even though I was working quietly and didn’t make any additional requests. The chips they served when I first arrived were tough and tasted like cardboard, and while the food was decent, it wasn’t anything special. When my staff arrived, they ordered and ate, and then we left. Overall, it was an okay experience, but it’s not really a place where you can comfortably stay longer than just for a meal.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Beckley. The food is excellent, and the staff is friendly. I strongly recommend dining here!

I've been a fan of this place since I was a kid, back when they were in their old building. The food was outstanding back then, and it still holds up today.

If you want authentic Mexican food and excellent service. This is the place to go. Great!

This may not have been the traditional Mexican of the Southwest, like my home in Arizona but I did enjoy the atmosphere ,food and my family. Their Margarita were very nice too. Our server was prompt and the prices perfect.
