Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Beckley

The food is amazing. The quality and taste of the ribs is so good. The meats are so delicate and moist that if you use sauce, it is for taste (most places you need sauce only so you can tolerate food). Staff are nice. The restaurant is clean.

Dickey 's Delivers!. We stopped at Dickey 's in Beckley last Sunday with high expectations, and we were not disappointed. When we went into the doors of Dickey's BBQ, it became clear that a previous announcement that I saw was discovered by the Beckley community is very excited about the opening of Dickey 's, as all tables were occupied and there was a line that stretched out almost the door. This made for a considerable wait, but it was certainly worth it! Since my family and I are vegetarians, we stayed away from the flesh and ordered several selections of Dickeys' homestyle pages. I have tasted some excellent roasted Okra in my day, but no better than Dickey 's that has the cripples and taste that other roasted Okra just envy. The Waffle Iron Fries, which are excellently immersed in each of Dickeys' three varieties of barbecue sauce, were above average and quite delicious. The Mac cheese, while not the best I've ever tasted, is also pretty good. But in my opinion, none of these of the Jalapeno beans, which may be the best beans I have ever tasted, with incredibly complex flavors and a decent kick. If sweet tea is your thing, then you will probably take Dickey 's on Southern Sweet Tea. An additional treat is the free soft ice cream from which I tried a cone after enjoying my meal. Of course, this ice cream is not good quality, but still has a nice taste, and the children (and some adults) will love it. Overall, I have almost no negatives about Dickey 's (although a drop of original BBQ sauce flew into my eye when I closed the pot lid, that was certainly 't Dickey's mistake). I would go so far to say that Dickey 's serves some of the best food I've ever eaten! I absolutely recommend the Beckley location of Dickey 's BBQ Pit!

I think Dickeys has a high quality standards on their meat but their sides aren't that great. Al in all, for the price, its a great place for a barbecue.

I'm in from out of town, and although I grew up in Wva, soooo much has changed. I was trying to find somewhere different to eat and was looking up places and came across Dickey's. Being that they were close to closing I was hesitant to order but I'm glad I did because the foot was REALLY good!!! I would recommend.

Not a big BBQ fan here, I have eaten at tails and its big, makes me appreciate good BBQ, service is good and food is wonderful, very recomending it
