I really enjoyed this restaurant with its decent sushi. I may have ordered too much food—two rolls, champon, and a bento box—but everything was great (keeping in mind that it's a mid-range place; I'm not comparing it to higher-end sushi spots). What User doesn't like about Mio Sushi:
The fried rolls were just as unappetizing as the cold ones. Each roll seemed inconsistent, resembling a bland beige blob with a faint hint of sushi flavor. Even the rice was completely lacking in taste. I usually enjoy sushi, but this was the worst I've ever had. It was truly off-putting. Did the chef even try? I've never encountered such a lack of flavor before. I recommend avoiding this place at all costs. View all feedback.
Fantastic sushi—my favorite spot! My husband and I visit whenever we can. The service is excellent, and we also love the music.
I ordered sushi for delivery and found the fish to be quite fresh. I also appreciated that they minimized packaging by placing everything in one container.
I ordered the kalbi as part of my bento box, but unfortunately, it was overcooked. The meat was so burnt that I couldn't eat it at all. I'm really disappointed.
I took a break from dining here for a couple of years and returned, only to find another new employee. Unfortunately, the same issues occurred. It seems that providing decent customer service isn't a priority. It’s frustrating that Mio Sushi chooses to hire individuals who lack English proficiency and don't seem to care about basic customer requests, nor do they appear to be encouraged to improve their service skills.
For a mid-range sushi restaurant, I really enjoyed my experience. I ordered quite a bit of food (two rolls, champon, and a bento box) and everything was excellent—especially for a mid-tier establishment; I'm not comparing it to high-end sushi places like Bamboo Sushi. The prices are reasonable, and it's a relaxed spot for having dinner with friends.
