The Green Pepper is a great little restaurant. While its interior is very dated & showing its age, the food more than makes up for it. The service is always very friendly. Parking can be difficult sometimes though, due to the location. View all feedback.

Found lots of short hairs in our ginger beef. Threw rest of our order in the garbage. Was truly disappointed....now people please wear hair nets. Found at least 3 short hairs in food...used to be good food but have constantly been let down..... Will not go back....I'd rather eat at mcdonalds....at least there are no surprises to be found in food. I really think you should think twice before eating here....also me and... View all feedback.
After reading positive reviews, I decided to dine at this restaurant, but in my opinion, it did not live up to the hype. We arrived only to miss the buffet by 20 minutes, so we opted for a combo meal instead. The food arrived promptly, but it was evident that it had been microwaved - the edges were hot while the middle was not, and the deep-fried shrimp was tough and overcooked. Each combo meal cost $13.50 for a small portion that was not worth it. Perhaps the food would have been better if it had been freshly prepared.
The owners are always friendly and helpful, and the food is superior to most other Chinese restaurants in the area.
We went out to the birthday of a friend, we had a great meal! it is already awhile, since we have been impressed by Chinese food offerings in the opposite, but this place has made it very good. the service was fast, the meal was excellent and the price was...reasonable and also. What else can they ask?
While staying in Beaverlodge for work, we decided to order takeout from this restaurant. We called in our order and went to pick it up, but when we got back to our hotel, we realized that they forgot to include the sweet and sour sauce for our chicken dish. After calling the restaurant, they promised to deliver it to us, which is only a 2-minute drive away. However, it has been over 2 hours and we are still waiting for the sauce to be delivered.
Although the setting is old school hotel restaurant, the place looks clean, restrooms also looked after, order 2 dishes off lunch special which comes with fried rice, $10.50, shrimp lemon chicken, enjoyed it, service was friendly prompt but we were the only people...there this particular lunch hour on the restaurant side, coffee was ok, steady refills, will give it another go try other items...
