Contribute FeedbackA chain restaurant with a handful of locations in Texas, Louisiana, Florida and Alabama, Another Broken Egg Cafe had a nice, warm, southern charm feel to it between the friendly staff members and its homey ambiance. This particular restaurant we went to is located inside a resort village, which made it feel more welcoming, bright and sunny. The menu definitely pulls its roots from the southern favorites, including dishes that one normally would not see at a brunch place in the midwest for example. Biscuit and gravy, grits, tortillas, quesadillas, crawfish, and a variety of seafood samplings are sprinkled through the menu to offer a great variety of southern-inspired brunch foods. I understood why it was so packed with a line of people hanging around for seats, when we arrived at noon. Thankfully, another friend had gotten there before us and was seated without the rest of the party (not sure if this is the norm… so we were joined without the wait.
