Really great menu. A very helpful guy begged me and my hands were full of a baby and wore my drinks to the table and brought me a high chair. This doesn't happen anywhere. Children's menu is great and the food even looks pretty! We'll be back. View all feedback.
What Victor Montgomery I doesn't like about Mcalister's Deli:
Ordered the KING club which is $13.99. I order this 3 4 times PER month. I asked for it to be on a wrap and the lady said no. Straight no. I proceeded to order it when I got it it half 75% less meat that it ever has! I walked back up and ask for it to be corrected Danielle the GM refuses. I asked for an immediate refund as this lady continues to argue with me and tell me I’m wrong because she’s the GM. Customer LOST!... View all feedback.
Everything about this experience was great. The restaurant itself was very clean and you could tell it was kept up, the staff was very friendly (taking the order, delivering the food, and the person cleaning/took our trays), and the atmosphere was nice. I had the Southwest Chicken Sandwich and it tasted great. The price was higher than desired, but what isn't anymore good food.
I was in one day last week for lunch with my friend. I frequently visit this restaurant at least once a week when I am up from Cincinnati visiting and I ALWAYS enjoy McAlister's, but this experience was very different. There was an incident between one of the managers (a younger Mexican girl who came out from the kitchen) and one of the normal ladies that works in the dining room. This lady working the dining room, I do not know her name, but she is usually there when we come for lunch and ALWAYS does an excellent job. She seems to really care about what she does and the customers. So, what really bothered me was she kept asking the manager to just let her go(as it seemed her shift was over all her stuff was done) BUT the manager really kept on looking to escalate the situation by badgering her. The older lady/dining room lady(whom I always love) finally burst into tears and ran into the kitchen. in my opinion, this is not something a manager should do; they should always support their staff and try not to escalate the situation. So unfortunately, as much as I love this restaurant, the management situation I just experienced was very dissatisfying. As a frequent customer, I don't enjoy seeing hardworking employees get treated in that manner when, in my opinion, she was not doing anything wrong she was just trying to go home for the day. I might continue to come in, but I would appreciate if something could be done in regards to the way the manager approaches the staff, especially in front of employees.
The changed their sweet tea vendor, and therefore tea is no longer great but blah! This is what used to bring me in. Also I've had 3 Spud experiences that were subpar. The spud was two halves(this last time) put together, was lukewarm dry, and seemed to be maybe leftovers from the day previously. Definately wasn't fresh. At $10 for a spud x 3 bad spud experiences, with this past experience falling super flat, it was my last time eating here. Sad though, because my first two spud experiences were so memorable I kept chasing after that same quality three more times, until it's consistently apparent they do not serve good spuds anymore. Another thing I failed to mention was the generous portion of toppings they offered on their spud intially. They cut literally that portion in half, but the price is still $10. With $10 I'll go buy two spuds at one of the 3 steak houses across the street. I'm sorry, but serving half servable food is noticeable. And doesn't taste palatable, pleasant. Hopefully this restaurant will look into this to see if in fact the quality of their care for this product is poor, and bring the standards up.

I talked to the area manager on site he advised he her last day was this week. Ah, makes sense. Complete BS of service. Regardless, I’ll NEVER be back!
I use to recommend the King Club to everyone and have bought lunch or dinner many times for other people. No more, in fact the opposite in the future. The King Club use to be $10 but went up to $11 which is understandable in our over inflationary market but the last time I stopped it jumped to $15. I almost walked out without ordering but did anyway. When they handed me my order I knew something was off and told them I ordered the King Club. They said it was just the way it was wrapped. I got to my truck and checked my order. The sandwich only had a skimpy bit of meat on one side of the sandwich amounting to approximately a quarter of previous meals. I have made thicker peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Never again will I spend my hard to come by dollars there again and will give them nothing but the sorry recommendation they deserve. Greed is a sin and McAllisters can and will go to Hell.
