A wonderful unpretentious cafe that serves great meals at very affordable prices Right on the border of Monaco, mainly locals eating here.

Nice coffee, delicious pain au chocolat and pleasant staff. We stopped for a coffee at this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The service was good and the staff were patient with my poorly spoken French.

I stopped on my way to a meeting. A quite noisy but nice waiter proposed me the dish of the day (veal) that was really good. The veal was cooked well and decently presented with fries and peas, I really enjoyed. The restaurant is busy with local office worker, the waiter chatted with all of them and also with the people passing by but in a very pleasant way. The price was really good too!A perfect place for a lunch break:-)

Some people I know eat here every single day for lunch!! Mostly we go for breakfast. Air conditioned inside, outside tables with umbrellas. Lovely club sandwiches served with salad and chips. Mostly we go for breakfast. Fast service, good food and a nice atmosphere. It only does breakfasts and lunches from Monday to Saturday. Mostly for people who work in Monaco.

L'Alcazar is good when you want to eat well, just snacking or have a coffee somewhere that is good value and wholly unpretentious. Do not expect grandeur of any sort, this is a basic clean eaterie with pleasant service and varied plat du jours. It won't break the bank! This isn't for those wanting the Monte Carlo experience, it for those on a budget - good nonetheless!
