However, we had to limit ourselves to not exceed 50€ per person. we took half of an entrance and the dorade portion had the size of my thumb. That said, the welcome is charming and we think we're coming back!

The foie gras was superb, the monkfish perfectly cooked and the cheese plate a great way to end a meal. We shared a bottle of decent white burgundy and the price was around £150 for two, all inclusive. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area but L’Essentiel is well worth a visit.
