We had some outstanding food notably one of the best pigeon dishes ever but we seemed to spend a lot of the evening trying to catch one of the two waiters' eyes... read more We had some outstanding food notably one of the best pigeon dishes ever but we seemed to spend a lot of the evening trying to catch one of the two waiters' eyes. and we couldn't help feeling that we were being consistently overtaken...in the service by the tables of French guests around us. getting the bill and settling it wasa particular struggle, taking the gloss off an otherwise superb experience. The other minor drawback is the location: a bit of a walk and an unattractive one at that from the centre. But al in all, I'll keep it on the list

The food was simply superb... read more My wife I had a great meal here. Most people sat outside so there was a nice vibe on a pleasant evening. Service is classy attentive. The food was simply superb, every mouthful a delight. Also by English standards, this is exceptional value...for money.
