Unfortunately we only found... read more We only stopped in for coffee, but it was flavorsome and excellent. Nice staff, the food others were being served looked very good. Unfortunately we only found it the day before we left while organising our train ticket to Paris. We would definitely have eaten there had we stayed another night.

It offers a good range of traditional French cooking with a choice of 2 menus or al la carte. All courses were well presented and well cooked. The steak in particular was extremely good. A slight disappointment was the lack of vegetables to accompany the main courses. The wine list was extensive, but being Burgundy, not cheap. Service was very efficient, friendly and attentive.

The... read more We stayed at the Hôtel de France in Beaune and dined at its restaurant, La Régalade, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The room was spotlessly clean. The bedding was incredibly comfortable. We had an excellent night's sleep, enhanced by thoughtful touches that were much appreciated. In the evening, we dined at La Régalade, and it was a real treat. Everything was delicious, worthy of a fine dining establishment, with fresh ingredients, generous portions, and complimentary desserts that added an even more generous touch. It had been a long time since I had tasted cuisine of such high quality. In the morning, breakfast lived up to the rest of the experience: varied, plentiful, and beautifully presented. It offered everything: savory and sweet options, cheeses, cold cuts, yogurts, fruits, cereals… nothing was missing. The kindness and attentiveness of the staff must also be highlighted; they were always helpful, smiling, and readily available.
