Le Relais de Saulx - Beaune

Came here for dinner with friends. Nice ambiance and the (sole) waitress was efficient and welcoming. Started with scallops that were great. But the mains took a very long time to come. When they finally did, they were quite good. Pork belly, quail and pollock. Pollock was under-seasoned but otherwise good. Chocolate mouse for dessert was yum. Too bad the kitchen was so slow.

The only person that we saw working in the restaurant was the hostess/waitress. I assume she is the wife of the chef, who we didn't see. The food was very good and I debated giving the restaurant 5 stars. However I was disappointed in the wine. She gave me the smallest pour I received during my trip in French. I thought she was giving me a taste to sample. Although the one waitress was pleasant and efficient the atmosphere seemed a little frantic as she rushed around the dining room.

Dîner en amoureux dans ce restaurant d'un candidat Top Chef qui nous avait plu avec sa cuisine. La réservation prise en fonction de la petite salle (20 couverts). Un grand moment gustatif avec les différentes propositions de la carte. Un râble de lapin d'une grande tendresse, un veau parfait, des légumes qui s'expriment et des desserts tout en gourmandise. Un moment parfait accompagné par Nina au service impeccable et attentif. Une très bon adresse pour tout Beaune et même la Côte d'Or.

Rien a redire, c était parfait, ne changez rien! La deco est soignée , le service est discret attentif et sympathique et la cuisine est au top! On reviendra!

De retour d un weekend dans le sud, nous avons fait un crochet par cet établissement sur le chemin ... nous avons eu la chance qu il restait une petite table... de l entrée au dessert, nous étions subjugués par le mélange des saveurs et la réussite de chacun des plats! Un vrai régal pour les yeux et les papilles! Un service très agréable en parfaite harmonie avec le cadre et les plats.. merci pour ce moment!!
