Everything about this place was absolutely wonderful but be in the first time we ever went we found out that you can no longer have the grill view while they're cooking because they're changing it so if you want to go to Tokyo you have got to go to theone on I-10 in Beaumont rather than this one if you want to watch them cook your food... i really love it and qkll be going backsoon.. to the one on I10 so i can watch... What Nicholas Bryant doesn't like about Tokyo Japanese Steak House & Sushi Bar:
Hair in my to-go food. Wouldn?t you know I noticed it as I was about to finish, I know it?s not my hair as I have a very short crew cut. Gross and will not be back. View all feedback.
Not as awesome without hibachi grills, food was still good but a little salty this time. Used to be my favorite place to go.
Absolutely dreadful. Probably the worst Hibachi place I 've ever been to. 1. The waiter was clueless about the menu. But perhaps he 's new, so I 'll pass. 2. The food was overpriced garbage. I ordered the Hibachi Chateaubriand Centercut Tenderloin. What I got was a slop of cubed sirloin. 3. I also ordered a tempura Kevin Bacon roll. I can 't even describe how awful it was.Bland and a very strange concoction of chicken, cream cheese, rice, and Jalapeño. 4. We decided...screw it, might as wellcomplete the evening with desert. I ordered Banana Tempura with vanilla ice cream. However, the waiter informed me that Forsome reason we are out of ice cream ...So their entire desert menu is ice cream btw...LMFAO Not gluten friendly. The decor andatmosphere was as bland and boring as the food. I 'd fly to Japan before paying 75 bucks for another sit down.

Let me start by saying our waiter was really nice and attentive Now for the food reciew: This restaurant is definitely off of my list of places to eat when in Beaumont. The onion soup tasted like Luke warm water zero flavor. The hibachi steak that wasto be cooked to medium was so tough it was hard to chew. The shrimp and fried rice were both cold. The veggies were the onlywarm thing on the plate. I can not recommend this restaurant.
