The food here is excellent and the portions more than adequate for you to leave with a full stomach and extremely satisfied palate. I do not personally drink any longer, but the margaritas are some of the best the city can offer. View all feedback.
What Sid Blick doesn't like about Lupe Tortilla:
Food was good and no complaints about any of that. The restaurant had a nice quiet atmosphere which was nice compared to the noise at some other places. The reason for the low rating was service. After having our order taken and served we never saw the waiter. Had to start flagging other servers to get refills, to-go boxes and the check. If they were extremely busy I'd be a bit more understanding, but they weren't. View all feedback.
We visit Lupe’s every time we visit Texas. Hands down the best fajitas we have ever had, even at higher end restaurants around the country.
Great place for groups with amazing steak and some of the nicest thin tortillas
Food is okay but the service is lackluster at best. Waited 10 minutes after being seated to order our drinks had to ask for refills if our server ever came back. Once the food was out we didn't see her until waving her down to get the check.
I go because I love Lupe Tortilla and always have (from College Station, to Houston, to Austin)... this location is lacking. Same high prices but less service and the food just isn't as good as the other locations. Especially the queso is not the same. But overall, still the best beef fajitas around so we still go there and the kids love having the sandbox area to play in!
The food was really good that’s the plus ! Service not so much , the hostesses were not very nice , apparently they don’t like sitting large parties ! manager was rude , and the waiter was not attentive at all , we had to continually ask for refills he never came and asked us if we needed anything . Fix the service side and the food makes it one of the Mexican food places around.
