What Ned Parker doesn't like about Dickey's Barbecue Pit:
I visited for the first time and like others I was not impressed. We ordered the 2 meat and 3 meat plates .when I went to pick it up o noticed that the food was in a rather small bag. The portions are small to say the least it looks way bigger from the pictures. I 've gone to other bbq places and paid less than here and got more bang for my buck. This place is so incompatible.... I won't say too much, but check out my frito pie. Something else. Not even near the product they advertise.
The food tasted old and dry. I don't think I'll eat there again
Food was okay, price was SKY HIGH. 2 pieces of beef sandwiches, 2 large coke and 2 small chips were $36! Really?
Had lunch here last week and the staff was great! I whipped the menu. Decorated on the huge loaded baker with a pulled pork funnel and a large yellow cup! Big lunch
Pull pork was dry. This place is no comparison to the Dickeys in Nederland, Tx. Will not be ordering here again! Much rather take the ride to Nederland.
