Cotton Creek Winery - Beaumont

A few nights ago, Yolanda Avery, the creator of the Best Bites FB site and I met Cotten Creek Winery to talk about Best Bites and 2018. This was my first visit to Cotton Creek and my first visit to a winery, and I must admit I was very impressed. I thought I had a difficult time writing a review for a winery because... I don't drink, and I'm not a taster of wine at all. So I went open, and I was totally there in the evening. When I arrived, I was surprised how spacious it was. They have two rooms with many places to sit, drink and eat. The winery is charming, comfortable and cozy. It is very stylish and chic with only the right grade. I chose a table and waited for my friend to come. Our waitress was Priscilla. She was gracious, extremely helpful and accommodating. She was patient with my lack of knowledge in this area and made some helpful suggestions. When it comes to food, I know what I like, but with wine I was lost. Yolanda and I chose Tasting. It is your choice of three wines for $9 cost. I took Pricilla's proposal on two and I chose one. I liked the sweet Bleu Bonnet/Blueberry. The blueberry gave this wine an acceptable softness. A pleasant wine with aromas of fruity goodness. For dinner, the winery offers a welcoming selection of delicious cold dishes, appetizers and pizzas. We chose an appetizer and a pizza. For starters we chose the sampler. It came with 3 shrimp poppers, 3 jalapeno poppers, 3 cheese sticks and 3 roasted cheese ravioli served with ranch, mango jalapeno and sweet chili sauce for $12,50. Each piece was hot and crisp, and the choice of diving sauce was excellent. What could be more delicious than that? We enjoyed every bite. When we thought it couldn't get better, our pizza came out. A pizza that is exactly the right size for two people. We ordered the Boudin pizza for $9.50, and it was FABULOUS. It was layered with many smoked bounty, tomatoes pesto, provolone cheese, Italian sausage and fresh spinach, dried with Ranch Dressing. Believe me, it was incredibly good. A common court that was made unusually good. You take pizza to the next level. It's just moments before serving. A taste you have to believe. I encourage you to try Cotten Creek winery, located at 6755 Phelan Blvd, in the west of Beaumont. Tell them Best Bites sent you. Remember to support the locals first. Look at her on the FB. Best atmosphere and wine, best place to take your wife. The owners have a heart of gold and service is excellent. Get your name or company logo on a bottle.

Excellent homemade wine, fantastic owners and staff, super fun wine O Bingo! Great time as usual! Traci, the owner, makes you feel like a family!! Love this place so much!!

Nice place to find out what wine you want. Even if you're a beer drinker like me.

I went here for the first time Saturday and purchased the Neches Pom wine and it delicious! My friend bought me a bottle of Blue Bonnet and I’m excited to try it!! I will definitely be back and highly recommend!!!
