One of the best places to eat in Beaufort. A hidden secret. Sunday brunch is amazing. I recommend the bottomless mimosas. Red velvet waffles and chicken can t be beat. View all feedback.
We were so glad to have found this hidden gem during our first visit to Beaufort. I had the fish and grits with a side of fried okra and my wife had a fish sandwich. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the service was delightful.
Here’s what we enjoyed: The ribs were so tender they fell off the bone, making them finger-licking good, and the fried chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining juicy on the inside, just like grandma's recipe. We also had the yellow rice, mac-and-cheese, lima beans cooked with a ham bone, collard greens, potato salad, and cornbread, and each dish was spot on—hearty and simply delicious. None of it tasted like typical restaurant food (you know what I mean). Sandie doesn't cut any corners. We couldn't have picked a better place. The next time we are in Beaufort, Sandie's will be our go-to spot.
I wish I could give this restaurant six stars! The food was incredibly delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming and serene, and the staff were knowledgeable about the area and had a great sense of humor. This place is exactly what the area needs more of. I can't wait to return. You won't be disappointed!
Incredible Gullah cuisine! Mr. Keith prepares a fantastic fried whole fish. Visit here for a wonderful dining experience surrounded by great company!
The food was outstanding, and Collin Eddy truly represents his hometown with pride.
