What stuffedagain doesn't like about Dominick's:
This was a terrible place, especially since it was supposed to be a birthday celebration. They gave my wife a hard time with the reservation, and the waiter was new and not trained correctly. We were seated a little before 7:00 pm, and our entrees didn’t come out until after 8:45!! Our veal was like shoe leather; you should not need a steak knife to cut veal. The waitress was fine busy things took time sitting upstairs but the food for many of us was EXTREMELY SALTY! Tasted like a salt shaker was opened and poured on top of my chicken piccata with risotto and other's food at my table as well. Would not go back there.

I am at a loss as to what to order now.
Family dinner for 10 and it could not have been better. My husband and I live in the area and have been here before, my family from all over had not . All of the servers who attended to us were perfection, Destiny our waitress was exceptional! It was a very special birthday celebration and this family enjoyed a perfect evening here.

We will not return to Mulberry St and do NOT recommend anyone else go there.
Disappointing. My husband ordered Italian wedding soup as a starter, I ordered the caprese salad we wanted bruschetta but was told this was a salad, not the typical tomato salad on grilled bread). The soup is a beef stock base, that’s a first after having this soup numerous times. There were no meatballs like typical wedding soup, but what appeared to be ground beef, very salty. Caprese salad was 4 wedges of tomato, very hard grocery store style, not ripe plum tomatoes as described. Mozzarella, described as handrolled on site, was no better than grocery store. The greens had no dressing, not even olive oil, although there was a drizzle of balsamic glaze around the plate. We ordered angel hair cartierre which is typically a spicy, tomato garlic chunky sauce, overall the flavor was good but it was sitting in a pool of oil, there had to be at least a cup of oil at the bottom of the bowl. Also had chicken Marsala, this was a dark brown mushroom sauce, very salty, with absolutely no Marsala flavor. The Parmesan risotto was not cheesy, very salty. Service was good, the bread served is excellent, best part of the meal. We were very disappointed because we’ve heard great things, maybe an off night?
