We had a beautiful meal and highly recommend this restaurant. They looked after us well and managed to understand our abysmal attempts at french!

Excellent food, great service, superb all round. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

If you are a vegan or looking for fish dishes, do not go there. If you like quality meat, prepared over an open fire in a cosy environment, served by friendly waiters,, this is your place. The water mill was undergoing repairs, but otherwise it is a lovely setting. It is not cheap, but it is worth it. Definitely going back next time we are in the region.

Loved this place! Tried it because of reviews and we weren’t disappointed! It’s a lovely place set in an old water mill with outside dining on a deck or indoor dining. The food is prepared on a massive very hot open fire and is mainly grill type food steaks, duck pork etc. There is however a lovely choice of salads and the fries are proper homemade with actual potatoes!! Yey! I had the duck it was lovely and you should try the rice pudding for desert if you like rice pudding this will be heaven it was outstanding! We did book a table as we thought it might be busy and it was but we did see people just turn up also. Main dishes around €20+, salads around €9. One tip the big fires are raging and used to cook constantly so if it’s warm and in the summer when you go, an outside table is the way forward!
