Grill Du Port - Beaucaire

We are two sexagenarian couples who travel extensively in Europe. During a recent visit to Tarascon, we stopped by this fun little restaurant while walking the canal for drinks and a snack. It is just a fun place. We ended up coming back here again for lunch on another day. The food was good and the price reasonable. It was a beautiful day to sit and enjoy the view. You won't be disappointed.

We sort of came across this restaurant by accident, as it was the only one open before 7pm amongst all the marina restaurants in Beaucaire, and we were hungry. Staff were excellent and attentive, despite being quite busy that early. The food was wonderful. My wife had a great salad followed by Moule d'Ail Creme (one of a choice of 11 different Moule dishes! and I had fabulous Fritures (deep fried Whitebait followed by Trois Poissons (3 fishes comprising of very large crevettes, a piece of cod and half a cuttlefis, all cooked to perfection. We paid €52,30 and that included a good bottle of wine and coffees after. Great value and highly recommended.

It was fantastic for a private party! Great food, staff, location, and ambiance. Everyone had a great time and I would happily eat there again.
