Walked all the way up the mountain to this restaurant just to wait for 20 mins for someone to come clean our table and give us a menu So I decided to walk in the restaurant to give in my order, all that I have recieved was a waitress her name is tiana, very disrespectful and did not answering my question when I asked if I can order from inside and telling me to also wait inside She then tells me to go wait outside and wait again for someone to come to my table and take the order. As soon as I called one waiter to take the order, another waitress started giving us attitude again for doing that. Horrible experience, specially in Switzerland in a touristic site Under staffed, and extremely slow and disrespectful to their customers. I would’ve given them zero stars but that’s not possible so I give them one star
Very nice experience. Staff was super friendly and the food was delicious. Very generous portion.
Very good food. Here for lunch after the caves. Great views and accommodating to the kids. So many good choices on the menu. Have to guess it’s hard to go wrong.
Delicious food with an incredible view
WARNING: Only visit if you have no other choice – Hostile Service If you are visiting the caves, be prepared for a very cold reception at Stein and Sein. As it’s the only restaurant directly at the site, they seem to rely on a captured audience and don’t feel the need to provide basic hospitality. My family and I visited when the restaurant was only 30% full, yet we were treated like an inconvenience from the start. We were pressured to order drinks immediately, and the waitress (middle-aged dirty blonde hair) actually pulled a face when we asked for two minutes to look at the menu. It got worse when we decided to only order dessert; she was incredibly rude, judgey, and physically showed her annoyance. The most shocking part was at the end: after being ignored for the bill, I went to the front to pay. While the young man at the till was helpful, the same waitress saw me and slid a dirty rag across the counter at me while I was trying to pay. Advice to tourists: Eat before or after your cave visit elsewhere. The location is convenient, but the staff’s aggressive and disrespectful attitude isn 't worth it.
