The new staff at this restaurant is amazing! The food is a perfect five out of five, and the chef is outstanding. We will certainly be coming here more frequently from now on.
Looking past the cashier, who also doubled as the cook and server, it was evident that everything was pre-prepared. I watched her pull mac and cheese from the fridge and microwave it. There was even an uncovered metal tray of pulled pork on the counter, which made me uneasy about the quality of the sandwich toppings. Unfortunately, my concerns were justified—everything we ordered tasted old and cold. Maybe our expectations were too high, but I really don't think so. This experience felt like a waste of money, and we won't be returning.
We visited the restaurant today while the owner, Mike, was there, and I was shocked by how he spoke to a female employee. He was extremely rude to her while she was trying to do her job. After we finished our meal and paid, we overheard him giving her a harsh reprimand for not charging us for the mayo, lettuce, and tomatoes on our sandwiches. It was very uncomfortable to witness, so we decided to leave. On a more positive note, the employee was incredibly kind, even in the face of such treatment from her boss. We won't be returning and will definitely recommend others to avoid this place as well.
My husband and I have ate at Weber in Bean Station several times and it had always been a pleasant experience until Saturday June 2. What a joke. We went to the drive thru window and pressed the bell for service. There was a man taking an order and a young woman leaned up against the counter. The woman saw us but never moved, after a couple minutes the man came over and apologized and said he would get our order in a moment. After another couple minutes the man goes outside and smokes a cigarette,I push the button again and the woman finally comes over and takes our order. We order 2 ICE CREAMS one scoop strawberry in a cone and 1 scoop vanilla and 1 scoop chocolate in a cup. She takes our money and walks over to the counter, couple mins she comes back and asks what we wanted, this happened 5 times, then a young man comes to the window and asks if we have been waited on , i say yes we are waiting on our ice cream, he apologizes and says I dont work here but i am gona try and help them out, so he takes my order and comes back to ask what flavors went in the cup, then another woman goes in to the kitchen, couple mins pass and then she comes in the restaurant and he tells her what we wanted, several more minutes she comes over and asks what flavors go in the cup several mins later the obviously stoned young woman comes over and says you wanted the strawberry on a cone, right then proceeds to ring the purchase up on the register again, i tell her i already paid and she says oh yeah you did. several minutes later we finally get our 2 ice creams. It took a total of 18 mins and 9 times of, what kind of ice cream do you want to get 2 ice creams. very poor service, you keep up that kind of service and you wont stay open long
