Really good Italian food here. It's a very casual place. Very family friendly. We came here with a large group and separate checks and they handled it very well. Definitely worth a visit when in the area. View all feedback.
What N J R doesn't like about Grioli's Italian Bistro Pzzr:
The reviews are mixed but place wasn't that bad. I was there between my sons AAU Bball games (not the one in the pic). Most of the team decided to go here. I and 3 others had the Philly Steak and Cheese and all were surprised at how good it tasted. I had the chips and they were homemade but lacked flavor. I think they don't add salt which isn't bad. I are then all. The restaurant is typical country Fam Run-like place... View all feedback.
The Italian food here is excellent! It's a laid-back and family-friendly restaurant. We visited with a large group and requested separate checks, and they managed everything smoothly. This place is definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.
The reviews for this place are mixed, but I didn't find it to be that bad. I visited between my son's AAU basketball games (not the one shown in the picture). Most of the team chose to come here. Four of us ordered the Philly Steak and Cheese, and we were all pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. I also tried the homemade chips, but they were a bit lacking in flavor; it seemed like they don’t add salt, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The atmosphere of the restaurant is typical of a family-run country spot, complete with laminated menus and somewhat outdated cheesy Italian decor. However, the staff was really good, attentive, and quite patient while serving a group of 7-8 hungry 11-year-old boys and their parents. I would definitely consider returning if I'm in the area again.
If you decide to visit the new Vinny's in Bealeton, VA, I wish you luck; unfortunately, they've taken a turn for the worse. We waited for an hour and fifteen minutes and only received one meal after about 45 minutes. They messed up my sub, and after another 20 minutes, they were just starting to prepare it. I eventually got fed up and left. I've loved this place for years, but I probably won't be returning. It would have also been nice if the interior hadn't felt just a couple of degrees cooler than outside, as I was sweating the whole time we were there.
The name has changed to Vinny's. The pasta and Stromboli were good but the fried food was terrible. Boneless chicken wings were so overcooked that they were like rocks. The calamari was also overcooked and tasteless.
I called the store and they close at 9pm during the week. They are only open till 10pm on FRI/SAT.
