This restaurant has garnered mixed reviews, showcasing a contrast between delightful culinary offerings and disappointing experiences. While some patrons rave about the za'atar fries, hummus, and warm service, others criticize the bland flavors, low-quality ingredients, and unprofessional handling of complaints. Many reviews highlight the cozy ambiance as a plus, yet the inconsistency in food quality—from overcooked vegetables to subpar shawarma—leaves room for improvement. Despite some glowing remarks about the friendly staff and reasonable pricing, the overall sentiment suggests diners may want to approach with caution before indulging in their Middle Eastern fare.

Was Anonym at Ziatun a mag?
The highlights of the meal were the za'atar fries and the rose lemonade, but the mujaddara was also delicious and satisfying. The staff here are warm and welcoming. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Ziatun:
I ordered 2 wraps - one chicken shawarma and one chicken shawarma, along with 2 sides of grilled vegetables. The chicken in the wraps was not the advertised cube cut chicken legs, but rather chewy and tasteless breast meat. The yogurt sauce tasted like sour cream with dried mint, and the grilled vegetables were overcooked and lacked seasoning. The hot sauce provided was sambal, which did not complement the Middle Eas... For a meal that won't break the bank, head to this restaurant where you can expect to spend between $20 to $30 per person. The ambience and service at this restaurant are top-notch, making it the perfect spot for a casual lunch outing. Don't miss out on their delicious offerings!
This is our top restaurant in Beacon without a doubt. The atmosphere is cozy, the service is friendly, and the hot food is absolutely delicious. We've tried the falafel and lamb kebab, as well as the lamb shawarma, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. We've been there 4-5 times already. My wife, who is a vegetarian, usually opts for the vegetarian shawarma and falafel. There is parking available on a nearby side street. The service is great and we usually go there for lunch. Don't forget to try the hot Turkish coffee!
I recently dined at this restaurant for lunch and had a fantastic experience. The price per person was between $10 and $20, which I found to be very reasonable. The food was excellent, I would give it a 5 out of 5. The service was also top-notch, earning another 5 out of 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, scoring yet another 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Shawarma Wrap, as it was one of their best dishes.
