Vegetalien saved me today and it was so delicious! I was out visiting my customers and routed myself so I'd pass by Vegetalien for a late lunch/early dinner. Unfortunately, the restaurant was having air conditioner issues so it was mostly closed. The owner (I assume saw my disappointment and took pity on me. He offered to make me something even though it was so hot in his kitchen! I ordered a Buddha Bowl and the Tu-nah wrap. Both were delicious and were exactly what I was looking for. Can't wait to go back and try the other options PLUS the ice creams. (I had to draw the line somewhere today!
BOMB. You must come here, we got the BTL and the mushroom panni, amazing; literally the best vegan food we've had in a while!! 11/10 will be back for sure
The juices... the smoothies... the TOASTS! Loved everything we ordered and now we're eager to conquer the whole menu. Seriously good!
Great vegan food. The portabella sandwich and BLT wrap were great. The f'acon is really crunchy and tasty. I am not sure how anyone can not be plant based with these kind of food options available.
I visited this restaurant multiple times during my trip to Beacon, and everything I tried was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend it. As a big fan of vegan sandwiches, I can say that Vegetalien prepares them perfectly! However, I did notice a few instances where the posted hours didn’t align with their actual hours. Once, they were completely closed, and another time there appeared to be some training happening, with an employee mentioning they weren't open. Honestly, it wasn’t a major issue for me. I find Beacon’s casual “we’re open when we’re here” approach quite charming. I'm just mentioning it as a heads-up. The food is incredibly tasty and definitely worth any minor inconvenience!
Nestled in Beacon, this compact vegan café serves standout sandwiches, bowls and fresh juices — think craveable vegan “tuna,” portabella sandwiches and a memorable Buddha Bowl that’s an acquired taste. Patrons praise inventive plant-based flavors and a gracious owner who often honors outdated prices, while limited seating, a two-person crew and weekend crowds can lead to 20–30 minute waits. Occasional equipment problems and irregular hours are noted, but many find the food’s quality and laid-back charm worth a little patience.

I tried the Buddha Bowl today, and while it may take some getting used to, I genuinely enjoyed it! Just a quick note: some of the prices on the website weren't updated. I asked the owner if he would honor the price I saw, and he graciously agreed, which I really appreciated!
Amazing! I had the Buddha bowl with BBQ Jackfruit. My hubby had the portobello panini. Both were good size portions packed with flavor.
Great little vegan cafe with fresh salads, wraps, bowls more. We shared a Buddha bowl and a Cubano, which was more than we could finish. We also sampled their new vegan ice cream, which is amazing.
Jackfruit tacos are awesome and they were nice to allow us to choose what we wanted in our smoothies rather than going with the ones they had on the board. Also like their outdoor dining setup. We?ll be back!
This place was quite popular on a Sunday afternoon! Offers a vegan menu with juices, bowls, and sandwiches. Limited seating available. They were running with a staff of 2 so the food took 30 minutes to prepare during the lunch rush. Standouts were the vegan tuna and their panini bread. Food was very acidic.

I walked in with three friends, and the guy at the counter immediately seemed annoyed by our presence. He informed us that the juicer was out of order and that the grill was off. When I asked why the grill was off, he explained that they sometimes choose to close early on slow days. It seems to me that an inconsistent schedule and not having equipment available could be major issues for this place. It's a shame because it gives a bad impression of vegan businesses. Instead of promoting positivity, they seem to embody laziness. Very disappointing.
I had the Buddha Bowl today, and while it's definitely an acquired taste, I really enjoyed it! Just a quick note: some of the prices on the website are not current. I asked the owner if he could honor the price I had seen, and he was kind enough to do so, which I really appreciated!
