The chili was a bit saltier than I want, but still a big dish. Service very friendly. Portions were big.

The bartender Lindsey was great, we... read more Big bar on Main St. In Beacon NY. Went last night and it was great, the low key has felt dipping bar, but without the drama. The bartender Lindsey was great, welcoming and good at her job. They had a young lady last night singing melodies and she was brilliant. The prices are average, the drinks are well poured. On the way out I met the owner Richard and what a grateful man. He introduced himself and we talked about pizza shops where I used to live. Great people. Definitely a spot-yo meets when you are in the Beacon area and want some drinks, cool atmosphere, amazing staff and to be honest, all about a great place. 5 place safe. I will return, unfortunately for the ears of people it will be on Kareoke Night (Thursdays)

It has a classic atmosphere, combining a sports bar vibe with classic rock music, making it a place that caters to everyone's tastes. The American menu is simple yet well-executed. The restaurant has an interesting story and history, which you can read about on the back of the menu. Established in 1921, it embodies the old school charm of the community with its no-fuss service and friendly staff checking in to ensure everything is to your liking.

The food was amazing; I had the spare ribs, and they were delicious! The corn fritter puffs were simply to die for! The atmosphere is delightful, with a bar area, a separate dining room, and outdoor seating. I can't wait to go back again and again!

The pierogies were perfect as well. The chili was a bit saltier than I prefer, but it was still a fantastic dish overall. The service was very friendly, and the portion sizes were generous.
