Trash customer service ! No hand washing no wearing gloves.. taking payments then making smoothies is unsanitary

The corporate food service landscape is littered with smoothie establishments, many of which are gimmicky and offer sugar packed concoctions with little nutritional value. Pulp is somewhat of an outlier in this respect, as they originated in Northeastern Ohio with a small footprint and a large emphasis on quality.I've been to many Pulp locations, and never have I been disappointed with either the service or the drinks. Lately I've been frequenting the Woodmere location, so I figured my first review will reflect my most recent experience. First and foremost, the staff here are very pleasant and cordial. Usually I call in my order and pick it up since it's quicker, and each time it's been ready without any issues.I have a custom go-to drink that I've come to love, and that is the Matcha Match (matcha green tea powder, powdered greens, kale, banana, yogurt) with added avocado, chia seeds, and cacao nibs! Wow, I can honestly say that I'm hooked and feel cleaner and healthier all the while. The smoothies here are not only nutritious and satisfying, but also contain less ice. I've been to many smoothie establishments, but Pulp blows all of them out of the water!

I have been to most Pulp locations in the area, but this was my first time at this location. The workers inside did not greet me. Actually, they didn't say a single word to me as I walked up, ordered, and checked out. Despite the fact that I was polite and friendly, as I always am, they seemed completely disinterested in reciprocating. It was actually really uncomfortable to stand there while 2 of them stood in silence staring at the wall and the other one made my smoothie also in silence.I ordered one drink, with no customization other than adding vitamins, and it was made wrong. I didn't realize until I got to the car, and it was so unwelcoming in there that I just kept it and drank it. Not my favorite Pulp experience by a long shot.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. Every time I visit, they seem to make my drink incorrectly. I don't understand what has happened, as I used to love this place. They've completely ruined my experience, and I won't be returning to any Pulp location again.
