Mitchell's Ice Cream Beachwood

When we visited, the restaurant was extremely clean and well-lit. I found the ice cream to be average and the flavors to be fairly basic. Perhaps I am biased because I love Jeni's ice cream and tend to compare most boutique ice cream shops to them. I will come back to try more flavors.

Delicious! The ice cream is incredibly creamy and comes in a wide variety of flavors. The shop has a beautiful design with very clean surfaces and the staff is friendly. I tried the chocolate cherry flavor, which I believe is even better than Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia. I had it in a shake and it was practically perfect. The whipped cream, however, was just average according to everyone. I didn't find it remarkable enough to mention. I wish there was a location in North Carolina.

The staff at the restaurant were friendly and polite, and we were served promptly. My daughter really enjoyed the ice cream, and my shake was delicious.

If it were possible, I would give this restaurant a zero rating. When I visited this location, I was concerned about whether their vanilla ice cream contained eggs, as the ingredients were not displayed before ordering. I asked the young lady taking my order about the eggs in the ice cream, and she casually responded with "I think." Due to my allergy, I kindly asked her to double-check. Another young lady provided a book listing egg-free ice cream options. After making my selection, she mentioned that it may have been cross-contaminated. In today's world with many food allergies, businesses should be more responsible. I decided to take my business to another ice cream shop that clearly listed their ingredients and was willing to accommodate my request.

They have the best ice cream in Cleveland. The texture is perfect. My favourite flavour is coffee chocolate chunk!
