The asian inspired meals going past looked quite tasty, therefore that's what the chef should stick too... the main menu predominantly contains Aussie fare. Would not return.

We decided to have lunch there, but were disappo... read more For my husband's special birthday, we stayed in Beachport at an apartment next to Bonnies, which was excellent! We decided to have lunch there, but were disappointed by the limited menu. Unfortunately, the curry was already off the menu by 12:30pm, so we opted for fish and chips instead. The fish was crumbed and grey inside, making it inedible. The chips were decent and the salad was acceptable. We politely told the waitress that it was one of the worst meals we've ever had and that we wouldn't be returning. She assured us she would inform the chef.

We began with a large and delicious cheesy garlic bread, followed by the braised beef cheeks and a Greek custard tart. The service was excellent and the food was top-notch, deserving of a 5-star rating.
