What User doesn't like about Holiday Snack:
The portion size is disappointing, as it reminds me of a McDonald's hamburger and fries. I ordered the beet salad and it reminded me of a side salad at McDonald's. The server did not seem to understand when we told him this place was expensive, and kept trying to push the menu on us to order more. It's a shame because I used to love this place, but spending over $20 on a meal that resembles McDonald's is just not wor... View all feedback.
I absolutely adore Holiday Snack Bar! This establishment holds a special place in my heart. I have been coming here since I was a kid and I have no intention of ever stopping. The food is fantastic – you can't go wrong with a burger, fries, and a Boost slushie. It's all about the classics. The ambiance is wonderful, with fun and cozy decor throughout. The staff are also excellent! I will continue to visit this place forever. Every time I come here, it's a wonderful experience.
This restaurant is wonderful. It has a nostalgic atmosphere that is well-maintained. The food is delicious and the desserts, especially the cakes, are fantastic. I cannot praise this place enough. It is a very cool, old establishment that is definitely a hidden gem.
I love this quaint throwback burger joint! Simple menu, classic burgers. Seating is limited and it's seasonal. If you're on LBI and in the mood for a classic simple burger, it's a great spot! Diner style desserts too!
We stumbled into this restaurant after just arriving in town for a girls weekend. I was charmed by the quaint small town diner vibe and the experience of dining at the counter. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, greeting customers as if they were old friends. I opted for the BBQ bacon cheeseburger (single) and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was; I wish I had gone for the double! The tangy BBQ sauce, crispy bacon, and juicy burger patty all combined perfectly in my mouth. For dessert, I couldn't resist trying the No Name pie after our server raved about it, and it did not disappoint. The warm pie served with ice cream was a delightful end to the meal. The restaurant had a nostalgic feel with pictures hinting at its long history in the town. It saddened me to hear that some want to shut it down, as I hope to return next year and find it thriving, with the counter seats filled with happy customers enjoying their meals and the famous No Name pie.
This is a charming restaurant. It offers and provides so much to the community. It is a gem should be treasured. Anyone who says otherwise must be UN- American.
