The 2 ladies who served us were lovely but neither spoke English but one did speak a bit of French so we managed to make ourselves understood. Dinner was really nice, I had the asparagus followed by peppers in a tasty tomato sauce. The food was really nice and tasted like home cooking. I liked this restaurant and would recommend it. We were here on a Saturday evening and the restaurant didn't open until 8.30pm, but during our travels through northern Spain we did notice how late the spaniards eat in the evening so 8.30 seemed normal

Then, we kept checking the bill as we were sure that they must have missed something from it. If we 're ever in Elizondo again, we will definitely go back!

They have an extensive a la carte menu but also an excellent Menu del Dia or menu of the day. They staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is always first class.
