I was at this place on 5/14/22-5/15/22. although the hotel was beautiful, the hotel offers various amenities with a beautiful breakfast. I have to ask the security of the place. woke up to find parts stolen vehicles. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Spring Hill Suites Baytown Texas:
Every other Marriott I stayed at was willing to accept the form via email and process a refund for me, but this location was unhelpful. The staff here seemed to avoid my inquiries for days. When I finally managed to reach someone by phone, I was told that this hotel isn't even an official Marriott property. View all feedback.
Initially, we had no opportunity to stay at the restaurant, but we did have the chance to experience their customer service. Our reservation was unexpectedly canceled by the hotel without any prior notice, which we discovered at 12:40 AM! We arrived searching for a room, but unfortunately, they were fully booked as well. That's when the situation took a turn for the better. The manager, Leticia, went above and beyond by calling another hotel for us to confirm that they had an available room. She certainly didn't have to do that, and thanks to her efforts, we were able to get some rest instead of spending half the night looking for accommodations. Thank you, Leticia! She truly is a gem!

The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the beds were like soft clouds. I could have easily spent all day in bed, but the complimentary hot breakfast in the lobby was too tempting to resist. There was a great selection of fresh food available. I also enjoyed some time with my niece in the heated pool, which was a fantastic amenity. Though I didn’t have the chance to visit the lobby bar, it was nice to know it was there if I wanted to grab a drink or a snack. The snack shop was well-stocked with everything I might need. I will definitely choose this property for my next visit to the area.
The water feature didn't work. Hot tub doesn't work and half the lights don't work. The staff is nice and room is clean but you can tell the place needs better maintenance. The place looks nice and clean though besides the pool.
The rooms were so so. We were in the first room for an hour. As I was sitting on the sofa I felt an ant was crawling on me. A few minutes later I noticed a second ant on me. After the third ant we requested another room (which we did get with apologies). The second room I noticed the a/c leaking on the floor. We used a towel to stop it from running in the room. The shower door handle felt like it was going fall off. Things should be maintained on a regular basis. Upon entering each room I used my wipes to sanitize the areas. I never had dirty wipes while staying I hotel rooms before. I had to used four different ones in the each room. The hallways and stairwells needed vacuuming. We were not happy to see the receptionist smoking out front! We will pass on this hotel in the future. My husband is platinum elite plan member. We do expect more from Marriott properties!
