Amaravati came up on our Facebook, and we thought it would be a nice restaurant to try. It is an Indian restaurant, my wife and I are still debating if the cuisine is North Indian or South Indian. The ambiance was great, we were the only ones in the restaurant. The staff was nice. I didn't expect me to like Amaravati as much as I did. The search for big Indian cuisine in Baytown was unexpected, but I'm glad I did. I never had a bad meal in Amaravati and the service is always great. I'm going to Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. It has a hearty and complex taste I haven't found anywhere else.
