Checkers - Baytown

Very nice staff, but this situation is always from a few a week they were from Fritten at 1 o'clock in them afternoon and 2 weeks later they were from small beef patents. Very bad administration

Ordered the BBQ bacon double burger combo. Fries hot and fresh, as they should be. Burger was COLD. The cheese had no melting at all!!! Zilch! The patties was a little cooler than room temperature. There was entirely too much giggling and talking to be focused on customer service. Being a long time fast-food/restaurant employee it is my opinion that there should be no waaaaay a burger like that makes it to the customer. The biggest factors that keep all the smaller national burger chains from truly growing actually competing with McDonald's, Burger King Wendy's is food quality/selection and the customer experience. And no matter which Checkers location you check reviews on, they all have a common theme. Closing shutting down the restaurant waaaaay too early, and horrible customer experience inside the store. Not the drive thru, inside the store where you really want to give the customer the best experience possible face to face. Checkers will never compete on a national level with reviews in the dumpster. And now Jollibee other foreign burger joints are blowing in like a tornado siphoning off even more customers and revenue. Y'all better wake.

CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING! Maybe I'm just really bad at counting, but it looks like I was given 5 tenders when I ordered 8. Unfortunately, I can't justify driving out of route to my company over 3 tenders. Guess I'm just out of money. Don't make my mistake: check your order before you go!

I first had a burger from here a year and a half or so ago and it was delicious. I usually don’t exit the highway here, so forgot about it. I looked up restaurants near me and there’s Checkers so I went. I ordered a number four and drove home (8 minutes). The burger patty was dry and cold, as was the cheese, and minimal condiments. The fries were cold as well. 8 PM February 4th, 2022. Closing time today is 10 PM.

This Checkers is the only fast food restaurant close by home and it is consistently not great. My orders are always wrong, the food is always cold, and their open hours are all over the place depending on the day. Just now, I ordered a triple meat big Buford meal and a single meat cheeseburger and got 2 double meat big Buford meals. The food tastes good even cold, but I can only imagine what it tastes like if it were hot and fresh. I wish another restaurant was as close as this checkers so I could get some (at least) warm and correct food sometimes
