Description
Nestled in Bayside, this restaurant has garnered attention for its top-notch sandwiches and unique beer selection. Diners rave about their delicious paninis and Belgian-style fries, often recommending dishes like the barbecue cauliflower and marinated steak with mozzarella. However, inconsistent service has been a recurring theme, with experiences ranging from attentive to neglectful, particularly when food allergies are involved. Despite concerns about staff responsiveness and atmosphere—such as loud music—many loyal customers continue to return for the satisfying flavors and reasonable prices, making it a worthy destination for casual dining and enjoyable meals with friends.

A hidden gem nestled among some other awesome dine-in places in Bayside, NY. We were not happy to see limited options for non-red meat eaters and fried chicken sandwich (the crunch) did not impress on flavor but, the size of patty was humongous.Their Belgian fries also did not deliver as they were soggy. The panini presses in the poultry sections, in my opinion are betteroptions. The service was very good and the sweet potato fries are definitely a must with chipotle mayo!!!
The steak sandwich is just perfect with mozzarella cheese. Great tap beer as well!!!
THIS RESTRAUNT SERVED ME FOOD I INFORMED THEM I WAS ALLERGIC TO. I ordered the Veggie wrap and ask for no olive spread because I'm allergic to olives. When they served me, I double checked with the server and she confirmed it was made as per my request, without olives. But I took 1 bite and knew there was olives. I asked my husband to try and he confirmed there was olives. I tookapart my sandwich and scraped out the olive spread to prove the olive spread was in fact in my sandwich. I FORCED MYSELF TOVOMIT IN THEIR BATHROOM. This clearly ruined my entire afternoon and my plans tonight as now I have to stay home and monitor myhealth. Thank god, my allergy doesn't send me into anaphylaxis. While I was in the bathroom the gentleman behind the bar camearound to apologize to my husband and to inform him they would comp my wrap. I was in their bathroom for almost 10 minutes. When I exited the bathroom, I was obviously crying, my face was flushed, eyes red and watery and not one staff member checked inwith me to make sure I was OK. I was at our table for another 5 minutes shaking and crying and not one staff member seemed tocare about my mental and physical health. Their restaurant is small and I was sitting in the table directly across from the bar.So their lack of concern was intentional. I understand mistakes happen but failure to comfort the customer in distressespecially due to their negligence is such poor service. We immediately left so that I could continue vomitting at home to clearout my system. I work in hospitality and this is the most important rule of food service. My experience was completelyunacceptable. My advice, avoid this place like the plague. A restaurant that doesn't take food allergies seriously probablywon't handle food properly either.
Great food, nice selection of craft beers, attentive servers. Cozy back yard with TVs. One of my favorite spots on Bell Blvd
