Restaurant ALPENWIRT - Bayrischzell

In this place with a group, had a reservation. We came early and our table wasn't a big problem. However, the table would only be available with delay, which was not so beautiful. No excuses or something. Eating is good reason Bavarian style, there are options for vegetarians (vegan can be a problem). The impression of the service is somewhat mixed: on the one hand very friendly, but on the other hand somewhat overwhelmed. We got Schorle (Just or wine mixed with water), which was almost pure water. After we complained, everything had changed with our satisfaction. Making the individual accounts at the end was not without revisions. All in all, a nice stay. Thanks Alpenwirt!

The place is really nice with a really nice atmosphere. But yes, we had no reservation, so we sat next to the door. We asked if we could move when a table was released that was released, but they were given to other people who had no reservations. We ordered food as everything that came out, saw very large portions and very nice to be. One of the most expensive items on the menu and came a great disappointment size wise. The food was nice, but we had to eat somewhere else. The service is so bad the guy doesn't know how to deal with customers. He works in the wrong industry. Only a few weeks ago we ate the same in downtown Munich, which was very similar for better food with much better portions. Would not recommend eating much better places in bayrischzell for everyone. would recommend the food at Zur Post Hotel, where the food is excellent and the staff is friendly...

If the weather permits the shady beer garden right in the centre of town is a great place for a meal. The Almburger is good value and can be washed town with a cold 'Helles '.

This wonderful new restaurant is in the old Wendelstein Hotel building in the center of Bayrischzell. The new owners have renovated the restaurant area and expect the hotel guest room renovation to be finished and ready for occupancy by the end of 2016. There is a beer garden for outdoor dining and drinking when the weather cooperates. My partner and I have dined at the Alpenwirt a number of times since their opening and keep coming back for more. We especially like the diversity of the menu which features Bavarian favorites prepared with local ingredients. There is something for every taste including vegetarian and children's dishes. There is also an extensive beer, schnapps, and wine list . And there is also a variety of non-alcoholic beverages. We like the traditional Bavarian favorites Wiener Schnitzel, Almschnitzel, Schweinefilet and the wonderful Kaiserschmarrn. However, my favorite item on the Alpenwirt´s menu is the Almburger. This burger must be eaten with two hands and is served on a bun loaded with bacon, roasted onions, lettuce, tomato and pickles served with handmade french fries. Stop by and have a burger or one of their other tasty dishes. You will not be disappointed!

Economics. great food and very nice service. very cozy. highly recommended.
