This restaurant just opened this year. Their food is gourmet. I had the Menu du Marche' and a glass of wine. Considering the fine cuisine, 31 Euros was a fair price. Service was excellent!
A chance encounter with a French lady who lived in Sydney told us to visit this restaurant and we were not disappointed. We came for lunch and enjoyed the menu of the day €25 and we were not disappointed. After some beautiful Pettit fours and a beef consommé. For a starter and because we knew melons have been beautiful we had a melon and jambon soup, followed by a lovely fish with baby asparagus and then peach Melba/trio of chocolates. Although our French is very limited the staff were able to help us understand what we were ordering etc. if you want to spoil yourself for a lunch or dinner I would definitely visit here
This is a really nice gem in Petite Bayonne away from the crowds with very delicate food by master chef Frank H. (forgive me, name too long and too difficult for non basque people like me). They also offer a very good and exquisite selection of wine with very friendly and attentive service (quite unfrench in that). Basque specialties as well traditional gourmet food. Not cheap but very good value for money, lots of locals come here, tourists always a minority, highly recommendable, great experience.

Sometimes less is more and it doesn’t mean it will be good if you will be super generous for seasoning
