The Rusty Shovel Saloon - BAYFIELD

Divebar in Vallecito is exactly what you'd anticipate. When we visited, the bartender was handling everything herself, and she was friendly and engaging, making our experience truly enjoyable. There were plenty of locals around who shared entertaining stories. The food was tasty and satisfying. The place also features pool tables and pinball machines, which added to the overall ambiance. Plus, there's a lovely terrace where you can relax with your dog.

They have two locations: one next to the Durango Harley Dealer (which I haven't tried) and this one in the mountains. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Our waitress was always eager to take our orders and accommodate our requests. The food was decent for the group, but not outstanding. I ordered the overcooked wings, and the waitress kindly offered to replace them, but unfortunately, the new dish never made it to me, so I ended up having no food while dining with my group. If I were in the area again, I would consider giving it another shot, but I wouldn’t be rushing back anytime soon.

This is a fantastic place with incredibly accommodating staff. Our group rode in together, and they offered us a wonderful buffet at an excellent price. Despite the challenges posed by recent fires in the area, the team here went above and beyond to make our experience special. Great job!

Food is delicious!! The staff was very friendly. Service was great and interesting to see where the people from reading the dollar bills on the walls and ceiling. Would definitely turn on again the next time we are in Colorado

If Google had 6 stars I would have left that as a review. Pizza was perfect, hamburger was cooked to perfection and tasted great. Service was excellent and the place is clean and very well done. Very please to leave such a great review.
