Coven? More like shoved by a big old little buddy all around this respectable establishment.
I visited this restaurant last night and was significantly overcharged for two drinks. Despite finding it strange, I paid the total amount on my tab, left a tip, and left the bar. However, upon checking my bank statement today, I noticed that I was charged more than I had signed for. When discussing this with my co-workers, they informed me that this place is notorious for overcharging their customers. This is a terrible way to drive away repeat business and develop a negative reputation. I will not be returning to this establishment.
If Marcia is unwilling to work past 2 AM cleaning up the bar, she should consider finding another job. Trying to pressure and make customers feel uncomfortable in order to get them to leave the bar is not good for business. This behavior has been observed at Dusos as well. Some form of disciplinary action is necessary in order to prevent further loss of business. While Coven itself is a great environment with potential, Marcia could benefit from an attitude adjustment rather than being fired.
Now Covin, new owner, new menu. food was good, service excellent.
Lighting over pool tables is the worst.
