Arrowwood Lodge At Brainerd Lakes

I've definitely stayed in better hotels than this one. This place in desperate need of some updates and cleaning. I'll more than likely be booking a different chain if I'm in town again. The walls and floors are paper thin so you can hear every movement from neighboring rooms and the hallway. One positive to note, the employees were very friendly and helpful. Rooms: 3

Came in for an interview with Lynn, and it was a terrible experience. She immediately walked back the advertised pay and said because of previous employees that, for this management position, the pay would start at $16/hr. When I said that wouldn’t work, her demeanor flipped like a light switch and she instantly became very rude and sarcastic. Definitely gave me a glimpse into what it would be like working for her. No wonder why it’s hard for them to keep people around. Entry level McDonald’s in this town pays $16/hr. To hire managers at this rate is absurd and insulting.

Have stayed here many many times over the years for work. Rooms clean. Restaurant attached. Big parking lot. Check in is always very slow. Rooms: 5 Service: 2 Location: 5
